The 7oz harness leather used is made through a traditional process called jack glazing, in which oils are brought to the surface to create a glossy finish that never masks the leather's natural grain.

The inspiration for this bag came from Rachael's time spent with the Lakota Tribe in North Dakota. Giving a nod to the Native American belief of honoring the earth + spirit carried on in themselves and all around them. Parfleché bags were once simply ones prize possessions wrapped in a dried animal hide and tied with a string.
